FAQs

What's for dinner?!

Guests will enjoy Arista Catering's taco buffet that includes ground beef, mild red chile shredded chicken, southwestern tofu scramble, Spanish rice, Mexican Caesar salad, corn and flour tortillas, tortilla chips, and all of the taco fixings!

What should I wear?

Don't let the word Gala scare you. Our business is still sports and recreation. That being said, we understand that it's fun to have a reason to dress up every once in a while! We do not have a theme this year, so think semi-formal: slacks and a dress shirt, pant suits, casual dresses - wear what you are comfortable in.

What should I expect?

This year, Seattle Adaptive Sports is focusing on building community, fellowship, and extending gratitude. We want to bring our supporters together as we collectively celebrate 2022 - a HUGE year for our organization, and build excitement for what's ahead. You will hear from engaging speakers, and participate in any of our FUNdraisers that you'd like - such as BINGO, our live and silent auctions, or our exciting dessert dash! The night always flies by, so be sure to take photos, enjoy music by DJ Non-Prophet and let us keep you satiated with tacos and beverages as you connect with friends old and new.

What is the parking situation?

There are 2 free parking lots at The Swedish Club - one just south of the building and the other to the east. The south lot (accessed just past The Swedish Club building on Dexter) has 4 accessible spots directly across from the entrance, and 20 other spaces in that lot.

The east lot is accessed via Newton St. and has over 30 available spots, as well as a ramp leading from the parking lot toward The Swedish Club entrance. Complimentary valet parking will be available.

The Swedish Club is huge! Where do I go?

Our event will take place in the Stockholm room, located on the lower (bottom) floor of the building. The entrance is directly across from the south lot. Restrooms are just down the hall, but please note that accessible restrooms are located on the third floor and accessed by nearby elevator. If you enter on the main floor of the building into the lobby, take the stairs or elevator to the lower level and locate the Stockholm room.
